Community Guidelines
Effective 15 June 2025
Effective Date: 15 June 2025 EventsPOP exists because hirers and talent trust each other to show up, behave professionally, and deal honestly. These Community Guidelines set out what we expect from everyone on the Platform, in addition to the Terms of Service.
1. Show Up and Follow Through
Talent are expected to arrive on time and complete the full requirements of every confirmed booking. Hirers are expected to provide accurate gig details and a safe, lawful working environment. Repeated no-shows, late arrivals, or last-minute cancellations affect your Reliability Score and may lead to reduced matching priority or suspension.
2. Be Honest
Profiles, gig listings, ratings, and incident reports must reflect the truth. Don't misrepresent your identity, skills, availability, or the nature of a gig. Posting false, misleading, or retaliatory reviews is prohibited and may result in account termination.
3. Treat Each Other with Respect
Harassment, abuse, threats, and discrimination of any kind — based on gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic — are not tolerated, from either talent or hirers. This applies during gigs, in-app messages, and any contact made through the Platform.
4. Stay On-Platform
Payments must go through EventsPOP's escrow system. Don't solicit or agree to off-platform payment for a booking made through EventsPOP, and don't try to take a hirer-talent relationship off-platform to avoid service fees during a booking or for 12 months after your last booking together. This protects the escrow protection and dispute process for both sides.
5. Protect Each Other's Safety
Report safety concerns, harassment, or misconduct promptly using the in-app incident reporting system — see our Safety Center. Submitting a false incident report is itself a violation of these guidelines.
6. Zero Tolerance
The following result in immediate suspension or permanent ban, without warning: • Violence, threats of violence, or weapons at a gig; • Sexual harassment or assault; • Fraud, fabricated check-ins, or fake documents; • Uploading another person's ID or identity documents; • Circumventing payment to avoid fees; • Creating multiple accounts or impersonating another person.
7. Enforcement
Our Trust & Safety team reviews reported violations and may suspend, disable, or permanently ban an account at our discretion, per the Terms of Service. Decisions can be appealed by emailing support@eventspop.org.
